Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Enigma Tech Solutions software and services. By using the software you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Who We Are

Enigma Tech Solutions LLC is an Ohio-based software company. In this document "we" and "us" mean Enigma Tech Solutions LLC. "You" means the person or business using the software.

2. The Service

We provide software for service businesses — job tracking, inventory, customer portal, invoicing, and related tools. The software is offered in two forms:

• Self-hosted: one-time purchase. You run the software on your own hardware. You own your data and control your server.
• Cloud: monthly subscription. We host the software on servers we operate.

3. Your Account

Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use the software to do anything illegal, harmful, or dishonest. Specifically, don't:

• Violate laws or the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what's permitted by law.
• Upload malicious code or content that violates our users' privacy.
• Resell or sublicense the software without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your Data

Your business data is yours. You can export it, delete it, or move it elsewhere at any time. We will never sell it, hold it hostage, or use it outside of operating the service you pay for.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter.

6. Our Software

The software itself (code, design, logos) belongs to us. Using the service grants you a license to use it for your business — not ownership of the software.

We release updates frequently. Features may change, improve, or occasionally be removed. We'll give reasonable notice for significant changes.

7. Payment (Cloud Tier)

• Monthly billing, paid in advance.
• Non-payment for 14+ days may result in service suspension.
• You can cancel anytime — your data stays accessible for export for 60 days after cancellation.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, but if something goes wrong on our end we'll make it right.

8. Self-Hosted Tier

• One-time purchase includes the current version of the software, installation support, and free updates for the life of the product under your license.
• You operate the hardware. We provide documentation and support, but your uptime is your responsibility.
• Additional professional services (custom development, data migration) are priced separately.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is." We do our best to make it work well, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free or meet every possible need. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (like lost profits or lost data you didn't back up).

11. Termination

Either of us may terminate the relationship at any time. If we terminate because of non-payment or abuse, you forfeit any remaining prepaid fees. In all cases you retain the right to export your data for 60 days following termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Ohio.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
