Privacy Policy

Enigma Tech Solutions LLC ("we," "us," "our") builds software for repair shops and other service businesses. Here's what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. Short version: we only keep what actually helps you run your business, we never sell your information, and everything is encrypted. If anything below doesn't make sense, email [email protected] and we'll explain it in plain English — no charge, no hoops.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account details (name, email, business name, phone number) when you sign up or contact us.
- Business data you enter into the software (customers, repairs, invoices, inventory, photos).
- Payment details when you purchase — handled by our payment processors (Stripe, Square, PayPal). We never see or store your card number.
Information collected automatically
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) so we can catch problems and keep the service secure. These are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and tell you first.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To run and support the service you're paying for.
- To send you service-related messages (receipts, outages, security notices).
- To improve the software — we may look at overall usage patterns, but never your personal or business data without asking first.
- To follow the law when we're required to.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. That's not a marketing line — it's just not something we do.
3. Where Your Data Lives
- Self-Hosted: your data stays on your own hardware. We only ever see what you choose to send us for support.
- Managed Hosting: your data lives on servers we run in Ohio. It's encrypted the whole time — while it's sitting on the server (AES-256) and while it's traveling between your computer and ours (TLS 1.3). Backups are encrypted too, and kept for 30 days.
4. Other Companies We Work With
We keep this list short, and each one only gets what it needs to do its specific job:
- Stripe, Square, PayPal — for processing payments.
- Our email provider — for account and business notifications.
- Cloudflare — for keeping the site fast and safe from attacks.
5. Your Rights
No matter where you live, you can always:
- Ask for a copy of everything we have on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and data (unless we're required by law to keep something).
- Take your data with you in a usable format (JSON, CSV) any time.
If you're in California, a law called the CCPA gives you a few extra protections. If you're in the EU or UK, a law called the GDPR does the same. We honor both, everywhere, for everyone — not just where we're legally required to. Email [email protected] with any request and you'll hear back within 30 days.
6. Security
Your data is encrypted at rest (sitting on our servers) and in transit (moving between your device and ours). We also use strict access controls, keep audit logs, and review our security regularly. No system is bulletproof, but if something ever goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you within 72 hours — not weeks later, not only if you ask.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make a change that actually matters, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
